ABOUT THE AUTHOR: CARL SUMMERS

Born in Wrexham, Carl Summers is the author of Molly and Martin's Magic Computer – Part 1, with Part 2 to follow shortly.
Carl has also written other children's stories to be released in the future, including more Molly and Martin adventures.
Carl Summers had been inspired by such illustrious writers as Roald Dahl, Enid Blyton and Roger Hargreaves.
His favourite books as a child were "Noddy" and "Mister Men". Another favourite was "Thomas The Tank Engine", as well as stories by Beatrix Potter and Rudyard Kipling.
He is about to publish the second Molly and Martin story, entitled "The Wonderful Adventure".
"Molly and Martin's Magic Computer" is currently advertised in Scholastic Magazine and Citizenship Magazine, as well as various national newspapers.
Carl Summers has been a writer of children's stories for approximately five years, and "Molly and Martin's Magic Computer" is the first of these to be published by Coast and Country Magazine.
Future titles will also include "Closing In" aimed at the over 10 year old market, under Carl's real name of Mark Jones. His influences here have been George Orwell's "1984" and all Stephen King novels.
As Mark Jones, his first novel is about to be published by a traditional publisher.
